Development Caucus
What is the Development Caucus?
One of Leeds Met Students’ Union’s four strategic aims is:
“to inspire and enable students to achieve their potential.”
The Students’ Union has identified four objectives which guide all our work to achieve this aim, these are:
1 Support students in fulfilling their aspirations.
2 Attract and develop student leaders.
3 Provide inspiring opportunities for personal and professional development.
4 Encourage student participation in volunteering and the local community.
The Development Caucus consists of those students who are leading the student activities agenda at the Students’ Union. The Caucus gives these students the power to set and shape the agenda of the Students’ Union in this area. The Caucus will take ownership of these objectives and drive the Students’ Union’s aspirations in this area.
