The largest area within the Union is our student services. Comprising the Met Bar and the Stage Venue at Civic Quarter, the Union Bar on the Headingley Campus and the Kirkstall Brewery Bar and Venue we offer a wide variety of ways for students to engage with the Union. Managed directly by the Chief Executive, but responsible to the President of the Students’ Union if you’re interested in getting involved or just want to know more contact us email enquiries@leedsmetsu.co.uk
Established in 1970 the Union has a long history of enhancing the student experience, nothing more than our events department which has seen some of the biggest names in the world play on our stage. Celebrating our 40thanniversary in 2010 the Union hosted some huge events to say thanks to all those who’ve been involved over the years and to look forward to many more years of the same.
For every £1 that anyone spends in our services we’re able to give back 10p to the
student voice, student support and student development delivery areas outlined along the side of the website. It’s only because of the success of our services that we can continue to grow and support our students in a time of recession.
