Setting up a new society

It’s really easy just follow these steps

1) Decide what to call your society and what its purpose is (check it's not already in existence).

2) Find 11 other like-minded current students at Leeds Met University.

3) Download a society set up pack or pick one up from the Students' Union reception (or Student  Development office).

4) Complete the simple proposal pack.

5) Hand your pack in to the Student Union reception or e-mail it to getinvolved@leedsmetsu.co.uk.

What happens next?

Your proposal for a new society will be taken to the next Society Forum Meeting to be discussed and (hopefully) ratified. You may be asked to attend the meeting to give further details or explain your aims and objectives.
