Support & Advice
The Leeds Met Student’s Union Advice Service offers free, independent and confidential advice and representation to students. Our professional advisers are employed directly by the Student Union to represent your interests – even if you are in dispute with the university.
We can advise you on a large number of issues including:
Academic Problems – Mitigating Circumstances, Complaints, Appeals, Plagiarism and Disciplinary Procedures
Housing – Checking Tenancy Agreements, Deposits, Disrepair, Disputes
Money – Student Finance, Fees, Access to Learning Fund and Debt
Health and Wellbeing – Health Information, Personal Issues, Free Condoms
Other Issues – Employment Rights, Consumer Rights, Legal problem

Pre-bookable 20 minute appointment slots to see a Student Union adviser are now available at the Headingley Campus Helpzone on Tuesdays and Fridays (Term-time only)
