Academic

Sometimes academic procedures can seem confusing. The Leeds Met Student Union Advice Service can help you to make sense of them.

When you sign up for a course at Leeds Met you enter into a contractual agreement with the University, where you are expected to abide by the University’s Regulations and Policies while you are a student at Leeds Met.

The regulations include many things - from how you are expected to behave while you are a student, through to letting the University know if your contact details change.

It is important that you make yourself familiar with the University’s Regulations and Policies; otherwise you may find yourself experiencing problems later on. Please see our related links section to view the Universities Regulations pages.

We have also included pages for specific academic problems that you might need advice and information on during your time at Leeds Met. But if your problem is not listed, or if you would like to talk to someone about your situation in more depth, please just get in touch!

Q. of the day

If the SU helped you to volunteer in your final year and post graduation would you do it?
